The game
“Find the Pair” is a video game dedicated to young viewers of the Cartoonito TV channel’s shows, which reimagines in an innovative way the traditional card game in which you have to find pairs with matching symbols. The video game mechanics are simple and intuitive, in line with the preschool-age target audience. The protagonists of the video game are the channel’s mascots, and young players must identify, among the different proposed animations, the figure that matches the one in play, thus finding the pair. For each correct pair, 50 points are accumulated, while 20 points are lost for each wrong answer. The difficulty of the video game increases as you progress through the games played. In the first games, the player has to find the pair among four options; as they pass levels, the number of figures among which to find the pair increases!
Objectives
The objective of the video game is the pure entertainment of young players, who can play directly on the Cartoonito website or by downloading the Cartoonito App, free of charge. Finally, the video game’s graphic layout recalls the colors and shapes of the channel’s mascots; likewise, the individual protagonists of the video game are the pixel art version of Cartoonito’s mascots, with the aim of strengthening the channel’s brand awareness.
