The game

The video game “Free Throws” is dedicated to the game of basketball. The protagonists of the video game, Gumball and Darwin, are the characters from the cartoon “The Amazing World of Gumball” who take turns during gameplay sessions. The game mechanics are as follows: the player aims with the help of direction dots and throws the ball to score a basket. With each shot, the hoop changes position, so the player must be careful to aim well to score. For each basket, points are accumulated, and on the third missed basket the game ends. The graphic layout is in pixel art and faithfully reproduces the characters in the scene and the settings that mirror those of the cartoon. At the end of each game, a summary of the points earned and the best score appears.
