The game

“Mondo Convenienza Games” is the video game created for the well-known Italian furniture retailer Mondo Convenienza. It is a complex advergame made up of a series of seven themed mini games, with a common thread: the mascot “Comodino,” who guides the player through the mini games on a journey across Italy.

Seven mini games that the user can play, unlocking them one at a time, all connected to the client’s world.

  • In the mini game “Kitchen the user enters a real Mondo Convenienza kitchen and has the task of helping the client’s mascot cook a perfect pizza by assembling the ingredients in the correct way.

  • In the video game “Car the user steps into the shoes of the courier who transports Mondo Convenienza furniture.

  • In the video game “Find the player must face different levels in which they have to find objects related to the client’s world.

  • In the mini game Puzzle the player can test themselves with an easy puzzle game.

  • In Memory the user can have fun with the classic memory game.

  • Completing this set of seven mini games are “Drawing”, where the player can draw and color, and “Compose”, a video game in which the user can create backgrounds.

Goals

“Mondo Convenienza Games” is a video game created for the well-known Italian furniture retailer Mondo Convenienza. With the aim of increasing brand awareness and establishing a direct relationship with users, the client asked for a video game that reflected the brand’s values, above all made in Italy and accessibility. With a simple 2D graphic style with bright colors, the video game opens with a home page where the video games are arranged across the entire Italian peninsula and invite the user to play the first video game to activate the second, in a domino effect that also increases the time spent on the client’s website.
