In brief

  • Client: Roche — AMCLI Congress

  • Year: 2026

  • Format: 1980s-style arcade, played at the stand during the congress

  • Objective: to transform the exhibition space into a point of gathering and competition among participants

The Game

“ID Invaders” is a video game developed for Roche on the occasion of the AMCLI Congress as a digital engagement tool integrated within the exhibition space.

Inspired by 1980s arcades, the game takes the dynamics of classic space shooters, reinterpreting them around the “Diagnostics at its peak” concept and the seven areas of infectious diseases. The player's goal is to eliminate as many viruses and bacteria as possible, facing quick and immediate sessions even in challenge mode.

The gameplay is designed to be intuitive and accessible: a few seconds are enough to understand the mechanics and start playing, encouraging spontaneous interaction even in a dynamic context like an exhibition.

The arcade aesthetic and fast pace transform the video game into a gathering point within the stand, creating moments of competition and engagement among participants.

Objectives

The project was born with the aim of rethinking interaction within exhibition events through a more digital and participatory approach.

“ID Invaders” was designed not only as an entertainment experience, but as a natural point of access to the contents and activities of the stand. The game dynamics actually encourage dwell time and interaction, facilitating the start of conversations and in-depth discussions with visitors.

The presence of a final call to action towards online content also helps to extend the experience beyond the game itself, integrating physical engagement and digital touchpoints.
