The game mechanics reference one of the most famous video games of the 1980s. The protagonist of the video game is the Frullà product packaging, rendered in pixel art like the rest of the video game's graphics.
The player, in the role of the protagonist, must move through a maze-like path to collect as many fruits as possible within the video game, while avoiding the junk food roaming around unchecked.
Objectives
“Fruit Man” is a video game created within a product launch communication strategy, as a tool supporting the overall strategy. The video game was accessible to users throughout the entire duration of the communication campaign related to the product and tied to a prize contest. The client's request was to create a timeless, fun video game in which the real protagonists are the players, adults and children alike, that is, the product’s target audience.
