The game
“Explore - E-Taly” is the video game created for Plenitude + Be Charge, associated with an education and integrated communication campaign and a prize competition. The video game graphics are entirely in pixel art: from the maps to travel through in “Explore - E-Taly” to the reproduction of many monuments in our country such as the Colosseum, Piazza del Plebiscito, the Leaning Tower of Pisa, the Milan Cathedral, the Mole Antonelliana, Piazza San Marco, the Nuraghi, the Trulli, and the Valley of the Temples.
The game path and access mechanics first require registration through the player’s email address. Once registered, the user must choose their virtual e-car and begin a route through the maps of “Explore - E-Taly.” Along the way, the player must collect as many energy points as possible and avoid being hit by enemies.
To have the chance to win the prizes up for grabs, the player must score at least 1,000 energy points, gaining access to the instant win and subsequently to the assignment of the final grand prizes, if they rank among the top 10 in the overall video game leaderboard.
Objectives
The video game “Explore - E-Taly” is an advergame included within an integrated communication strategy. The goal of the video game is to promote sustainable mobility through a playful tool, increasing brand awareness and boosting lead generation.
The video game fits perfectly with the contest mechanics, encouraging participation thanks to the presence of a leaderboard, which determines whether or not users can access the prize competition.
In association with the video game, for Plenitude + Be Charge we also created the customization with the video game’s pixel art graphics of the arcade cabinet, used during events with influencers, organized during the launch phase of the video game and the prize competition.
