The Game

“Duck Pong” is a video game with intuitive mechanics and simple, essential graphics. The protagonist of the video game is the character Duffy Duck, who challenges one of the other “Looney Tunes” characters to a game of ping pong. All the protagonists and details of the video game are rendered in pixel art.  Once the match starts, the player must use the right and left arrow keys on the keyboard to catch the ball and return the shot. For each ball caught, points are accumulated, but be careful because for each ball missed there is a penalty. At the end of each match, a summary appears with the score obtained and the best score.

Objectives

“Duck Pong” was created for the website and app of the Boing TV channel (Italy and Spain), playable for free in the “Pixel Game by The Oluk” section. The objectives of the video game are primarily the creation of a playful product for children, increasing time spent on the website and app, and growing brand awareness through the use of show protagonists in fun mechanics.
