How Dinobros came to be, we ask Samuele and Manolo
How was Dinobros born? We asked the company’s two co-founders: Samuele Sciacca and Manolo Saviantoni. A chat among friends, the development of a meme game, and the beginning of a new era called Dinobros.

We want to introduce ourselves to tell you who we are, why the dinosaur became our trademark, and above all why change and evolution do not scare us.
Who Dinobros is and what we do best can certainly be told by our founders, Samuele Sciacca, CEO of Dinobros, and Manolo Saviantoni, co-founder and Pixel artist at Dinobros.
We had a chat and they told us what is behind our company and how we got here, finally talking about Dinobros as a growing business reality.
Dinobros, the dawn of a new era
Many people ask us why the company is called Dinobros, so let’s start there.
The fictionalized version could be: an Al Bano gaffe was the spark; the story goes that a digital artist and a programmer, overnight, rode the wave and put online a playful and ironic video game in which the 8-bit avatar of a fantastic Al Bano battles furious dinosaurs with soaring high notes, until extinction.
The video game shows all the esteem and affection toward Al Bano, so much so that Manolo Saviantoni The Oluk publicly thanked him in his IG post to celebrate one year since the birth of the meme game.

"This video game is our signature, so much so that it paved the way for other new games." Manolo Saviantoni
In reality, the road to Dinobros was full of brainstorming; two important aspects had to emerge: pixels and having a true brotherly relationship. In the end Dinobros won, with the aim of paying tribute to the meme game that was always mentioned before the creators and developers in the launch press releases of new games: "From the creators of Al Bano vs Dinos…"
Samuele and Manolo, advergames, and Dinobros.
The idea of starting a company together matured over time; before the company, there were them: Samuele Sciacca, a programmer and trainer, and Manolo Saviantoni, an art director and pixel artist. Both freelancers met online, and started producing their first advergames together, then came the turning point.

"At a certain point, the first major clients arrived. We started taking on projects where, in addition to the video game, a series of related communication activities was planned. In light of this, we closed our VAT numbers and threw ourselves into entrepreneurial life, without distorting what we do best: video games." Samuele Sciacca
Big clients and important projects, also on highly significant topics such as the environment, workplace safety, education, and instruction, are the springboard for our company, which is growing and is made of people, humanity, and sharing even hundreds of kilometers apart.
Dinobros, the evolution that awaits us.
Our trademark is a dinosaur, but we do not want to hear about extinction. Evolution and change are in our DNA.
Samuele has based his personal and professional evolution on change; he has made multipotentiality a value to bring into the company, so as never to stop and always aim for excellence.
"In the morning I worked as a dishwasher, and in the afternoon I locked myself in on the project just commissioned by an Italian multinational. After a few months I gained confidence and returned to Italy, to start again here." Samuele Sciacca
Manolo changed skin, from art director to pixel artist, marking his personal professional evolution, thanks to which he brought out his creative and human potential.
"In pixel art I am self-taught; the characters evolved with me. I created my own signature, found in the detail of my characters with very few pixels; it is the distinctive trait people generally like most about my work." Manolo Saviantoni

Today, together, they lead a young and fluid reality that places advergames at the center of its core business, and the outlook is to grow and expand the field of action, while maintaining the fixed points of Dinobros’ identity.
"Perhaps many times clients love us even before our products! It often happens that with major clients we have built human friendships even before working relationships. A human relationship based on transparency. We often go against our own interest to let the client choose the best option, even if for us it is the cheapest." Samuele Sciacca
