The game

LOL - The Game” was created for the launch of the first edition of the show “LOL - Who's Laughing Is Out”. The advergame has been inserted into the communication strategy for the launch of the show and it remained active for the campaign months. In the video game, the protagonists and the stage have been faithfully replicated in pixel art, following the references provided by the customer and watching the episodes in preview. La video game structure puts the player in the role of the hosts with the aim of identifying the characters who are laughing.

The advergame is structured to be accessible from a browser on any device and provides for a simple and intuitive game mechanics: in the first part, the player must click only the avatars of the celebrities who laugh on the scene and in the second part, the moment of the “test” present in the show is repeated where the player must make the character laugh, clicking on the amused emojis that surround him.

There are 10 contestants of the first edition starring “LOL - The Game”: Stefano Belisari (Elio and Le Storie Tese), Caterina Guzzanti, Frank Matano, Pintus, Pasquale Petrol (Lillo and Greg), Michela Giraud, Luca Ravenna, Ciro and Fru of The Jackal, Katia Follesa) plus the presenters, Fedez and Mara Maionchi.

Objectives

The primary objective of 'LOL - The Game' is the integration of the show's brand awareness through a video game. The objective has been reinforced by Virality of the advergame which has been shared on social media by the official profiles of the contestants and Prime Video.
