On the occasion of the 53rd World Earth Day What is celebrated on April 22, let's tell you about one of the video games that opened our eyes even more on environmental sustainability, the need for environmental education and recycling which must go through every channel.
From our point of view Anything can go through a video game and thanks to our customer Hera Group, we had the chance to prove it with the 'Eco Games'.
A videogame to learn how to recycle waste properly
The “Eco Games” were created to respond to a need of our customer Hera: to communicate to citizens the correct way to recycle but in a fun and engaging way.
A challenge that we accepted with enthusiasm, becoming part of an extended project that sees video games as part of an impressive and widespread communication strategy.
Gli ”Eco Games” They are a group of Three mini games in which the protagonists are always waste of all types: organic, plastic, paper, undifferentiated. With three game mechanics, the player can test himself and prove to recognize the waste, categorize it and trash it in the correct container.
The player can then choose What to play between a Ambient memory, a ecological labyrinth And a Falling waste. At the end of each video game, you can test your knowledge about recycling by answering a quiz.
The The graphic layout of the video game is entirely in pixel art and the creative effort has made it possible to create the reference cities in which the customer operates.
In addition to cities, there have been Also recreated in pixel art the means of transport and work of the Hera Group and the garbage collectors.
If you think it's just a video game, you're wrong.
In fact The “Eco Games” are part of an integrated communication project associated with the video game. The creativity of the video game was used for the personalization of the hardcover of the events, the dynamic posters on the Hera Group's vehicles and for the gadgets.
We have taken care of the entire creative part and the social editorial plan for the launch of the video game and the associated prize competition.
We are very happy with this project, as with all the projects related to educational games.
In this case, however, let's take the opportunity to make our contribution by making known one of the video games that we have created with the purpose of contribute to the growth of environmental and ecological awareness and we want to talk about it these days, when we celebrate theEarth Day, the World Earth Day.
For our part, we save the world one pixel at a time and we support important causes such as environmental sustainability and the culture of recycling.
